Onion and Garlic Free Bolognese
Onion and Garlic free Bolognese Sauce
Gluten Free | Dairy Free | Nut Free | Low Fructan
Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add in the onion and cook until tender.
Add in the mince and break up. Allow to brown on all sides
Add in the red wine and cook for 3-4 minutes. Continue to stir mince.
Add in the crushed tomato and mix. Add in the chicken stock and stir.
Add in the tomato paste
Bring mixture to the boil and then reduce to a simmer. Allow to cook until the bolognese has thickened. Serve the sauce with you pasta of choice and sprinkle with percorino and top with basil. Enjoy!
0.5-1 TBSP Garlic Infused EVOO
500mL FODMAP Friendly Chicken Stock
2x 400g Tins of Crushed Tomato
2 TBSP Tomato Paste (Salt Reduced)
1Cup Chopped Spring onion (Dark green part only)
1/4 Cup Red Wine
500g Lean Beef Mince
GF pasta to serve
1 TBSP Pecorino (optional) omit for DF
11 TBSP Basil (Optional)
